How to Use Your University Library. A Rough Guide. [in English]
Even if you access the textbook digitally from home via VPN and do not set foot in the library: without the library, it would be unconceivable to have access to the study and research materials you need on a daily basis.
The library supports you throughout your entire degree programme. Time and again, you will ‘stumble across’ the library (either in person or online): you might borrow a textbook, consult a course reserve in one of the many branch libraries, or conduct research for term papers and dissertations – just to name a few examples.
Last but not least, the library is an important learning environment: whether in a quiet atmosphere, in a group study room or in the Active Learning Space – the library is the place to go. And it is so much more…

We also offer guided tours of the Law Branch Library (located directly on Universitätsplatz, in the Juridicum). The 30-minute tours start on Wednesday at 10:30 (English/German) and 11:15 (German) and on Thursday at 12:30 (English/German) and 13:15 (German).
