Always well advised and never hungry - Welcome to the Halle Student Union! [in English]
Are you simply hungry or in need of information or clarification? We are there for you!
Whether at the beginning or at any other stage of your studies, we are your point of contact for questions relating to your studies and daily life. For instance: What is to be considered at to be taken care of at the beginning of your studies to save both money and time? What are the consequences of registering in Halle as your main or secondary residence? Is any state funding available for me? Do you need financial assistance during pregnancy, during an absence semester or after resuming your studies? Or also: Which counselling and assistance services are available for students with health restrictions? And last but not least: Working while studying—does that work and if so, how and where? We provide individual advice on these and plenty of other relevant aspects.
In addition, studying not only opens many doors and opportunities, it is also challenging in many ways. Minor or major challenges are therefore nothing unusual. A conversation with our psychosocial counselling service can provide relief and distance from a personally difficult situation.
Of course, you are also welcome if you don't really know what the problem is and want to sort out your thoughts.
