Semester ticket

The “Deutschland-Semesterticket“ is already included in the semester fee paid (a mandatory €29.40 per month). The ticket has been valid throughout Germany on local public transport since April 2024 - it is the student version of „Deutschlandticket“.

Your Student ID card is no longer the ticket. The new semester ticket for students is included with activation of the movemix app of the local public transport operator HAVAG. The mobile app ticket and ID card must be shown upon request (ticket control). Deutschland-Semesterticket will be available in movemix app for first-year students from around mid-September. It will then be valid from the start of the semester, i.e. from October 1.
