Academic Calendar

The academic year is divided into a winter and a summer term, six months each. The time frame in which regular courses take place at the University comprises only about 4 months and is interrupted by holidays. During the last weeks of the academic year, there is a lecture-free time period students call a semester break. But keep in mind that there is still a lot to do, such as finishing all written assignments, completing internships, and taking final exams. The student residences are open all year round.
